We are seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Learning Tree Academy. As an integral part of our childcare services, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
Key Responsibilities- Assess children's developmental needs to create personalized learning plans.
- Collaborate with colleagues on housekeeping and cooking duties.
- Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers.
- Develop and implement child-care programs that promote overall child growth.
- Support early childhood educators in program implementation.
- Keep accurate records under supervision.
- Engage children in activities through storytelling, teaching songs, and crafts.
- Prepare snacks and arrange rooms for lunch and rest periods.
- Submit written observations on children.
- Discuss progress and problems at staff meetings.
This is a permanent position with a guaranteed 32-35 hours of work per week. The work environment is physically demanding and requires attention to detail.
Requirements- College or CEGEP diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on qualifications and location. Our academy offers a comprehensive benefits package, including diversity and cross-cultural training to ensure a welcoming work environment for all employees.
