About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team at BLT Installations LTD. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for fabricating and installing sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabrication and Installation: Fit and join sheet metal parts, install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes, and operate forklifts as needed.
  • Insulation and Scaffolding: Fit insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs, assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Clean work areas, apply and secure insulation using various methods, and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Equipment and Machinery: Operate hand tools, drills, and other equipment as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: Aerial lift and aerial work platform Certification, Forklift Operator Certification.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Hand tools, drills, and other equipment.
  • Transportation: Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
  • Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads.
  • Personal Suitability: Organized.
