Job Title: Sheet Metal Worker

BLT Installations LTD is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join our team. As a Sheet Metal Worker, you will be responsible for fabricating and installing sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fabricate and install sheet metal products, including flashings, gutters, and downspouts.
  • Operate various hand and power tools, including drills, saws, and sanders.
  • Measure and cut insulating materials to required shape and dimensions.
  • Apply and secure insulation using various methods, including spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, and taping.
  • Install sheet metal products in various settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial environments.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication and installation.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy materials.
Working Conditions:

The work environment is physically demanding, with frequent lifting, bending, and standing. The worker must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces.

Personal Qualities:

The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
