About the Role:



  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced transportation professional to join our team as a long haul truck driver. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country.
  • Your primary responsibility will be to operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently.
  • You will also be required to oversee the condition of your vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure they are in good working order.
  • In addition, you will perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to maintain high standards of safety and efficiency.
  • As a transportation professional, you will be expected to record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption accurately and timely.
  • You must hold a valid Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks) and Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • This is a permanent position with a work term of 50-60 hours per week.
  • The language of work is English.
