Job Summary

The Insurance Service Advisor will provide in-force policy support to licensed advisors, Branch Managers, and Insurance Consultants within a defined region. This role is responsible for delivering training to advisors on accessing policy details within Centralize and best practices for servicing activities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide in-force policy support to licensed advisors, including delivering training and flagging policies that require attention.
  2. Review in-force permanent life insurance policies at key milestones to identify potential issues that may lead to future client concerns.
  3. Take on Agent of Record for orphaned policies and triage requests for licensed advisors to take over as Agent of Record.
  4. Identify opportunities to introduce an Insurance Consultant into an in-force policy where there may be new business potential.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience within the life insurance industry coupled with a University degree (or equivalent education).
  • The Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and/or Certified Life Underwriter (CLU) designations are an asset.
  • Experience working with permanent life insurance and working knowledge of insurance carrier illustrations, software, and advisor portals is essential.

Language Requirements

The successful candidate will be required to be able to communicate in English in addition to French.
