Drywall Installation Job Description

GARCHA DRYWALL LTD is seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, finishing joints, and ensuring a smooth finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to meet project specifications
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for installation
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Finish corners and angles, and create decorative designs in the finish coat, if required
Work Environment:

This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling. You will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and handle heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in drywall installation
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours per week
