Job Title: Psychologist

We are seeking a skilled Psychologist to join our team at pt Health, a leading provider of mental health services. As a Psychologist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our clients, working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans for clients with a range of mental health concerns
  • Provide evidence-based interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and other forms of talk therapy
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Develop and implement mental health programs and services to meet the needs of our clients
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to mental health services
Requirements:
  • Master's or doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited institution
  • Current registration with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners in Psychology
  • Experience working with adults, particularly those with trauma and anxiety
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
