Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at Downtown Auto Centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage fixed assets and depreciation, maintaining up-to-date records.
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements, providing insights for business decisions.
  • Post journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports, highlighting key performance indicators.
  • Prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Reconcile accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Organized and reliable, with excellent time management skills.
