Data Warehouse Development and Management


Labelink Flexibles Inc. is seeking a skilled Database Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing our data warehouse, ensuring seamless data integration and analysis.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop and maintain our master data warehouse, including creation, updates, triggers, and deletion.
  • Design and implement reports and data analysis from multiple data sources.
  • Optimize database and data warehouse performance by analyzing queries and applying improvements.
  • Develop and maintain management dashboards to provide business insights.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity through first-line quality assurance.
  • Manage confidential data and information according to guidelines.
  • Design and manage the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.
  • Support data warehouse initiatives for identifying and revising reporting requirements.
  • Provide technical input on data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.
  • Support data integrity and normalization initiatives.
  • Develop software-based automation processes for business improvement.
  • Manage dashboard users and user roles.
  • Evaluate and implement new or upgraded software and assist with strategic decisions on new systems.
  • Evaluate changes and updates to source production systems.
  • Train end-users on new reports and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with the executive management team on data and reporting initiatives.

Requirements:



  • 6 years' experience as a data analyst or database administrator/developer in a related field.
  • Strong technical skills in SQL Server, SQL, VBA, VB Script, SharePoint, Power BI, ODBC, SSIS.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, with a preference for print manufacturing.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to develop creative problem-solving solutions.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical terms.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Possess knowledge of automation RPA tools, SIMx TextConverter, and Visual Studio.
