About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surface Mount Assembler to join our team at Evertz Microsystems Ltd. as part of our electronics assembly department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly and Installation: Install, mount, fasten, align and adjust electronic components, wiring and harnesses to subassemblies and assemblies using hand and small power tools.
  • Quality Control: Inspect electronic components and assemblies to ensure adherence to specified requirements.
  • Equipment and Machinery: Operate power tools, robotic equipment and systems, and hand tools as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Experience in electronics assembly is an asset.
  • Skills: Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environments.
  • Personal Qualities: Organized, reliable, and a team player.
Work Environment
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
