Drywall and Acoustical Board Installation Specialist

Welcome to Welcome Drywall & Construction Ltd, where we are seeking a skilled Drywall and Acoustical Board Installer Helper to join our team. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation of drywall and acoustical boards in various locations.
Key Responsibilities:- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
- Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
- Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to ensure a smooth and even finish.
- Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets to meet the required specifications.
- Cut materials using power tools or by hand to ensure precise cuts.
- Clean and maintain the work space to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
- Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound to ensure a seamless finish.
- No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience is an asset.
- Ability to work at heights, underground, and in confined spaces.
- Ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment.
- Willingness to relocate and have relocation costs covered by the employer.
- Ability to work in various locations and adapt to changing work environments.
- Work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Physically demanding work that requires lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
- Repetitive tasks that require attention to detail and precision.
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment.
- Reliability and accountability in meeting deadlines and responsibilities.
- Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- This role involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes.
This is a permanent position with a 30-40 hour workweek. The work language is English.
