Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Corporate Tax Expert to join our team as a Manager. The successful candidate will have a strong background in corporate tax research, consulting, and compliance in a professional services firm.

About the Role
  • This is a senior-level position that requires prior experience in managing complex tax returns and tax provision engagements.
  • You will be responsible for supervising and mentoring staff, reviewing tax files, and ensuring high-quality and accurate work.
  • The role involves advising clients on tax planning opportunities, minimization strategies, and compliance issues, as well as conducting and documenting tax research.
Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple engagements concurrently using sound project management principles.
  • Conduct pre-engagement work planning with the engagement team.
  • Prepare tax memorandums and interpret and apply tax legislation.
  • Participate on committees to develop and implement Firm management policies and professional standards.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of two years' experience in corporate tax research, consulting, and compliance in a professional services firm.
  • Completion of the CPA In-depth Tax Course, Parts I and II.
  • Strong focus on tax planning and proven ability to deliver the full cycle of project management accountabilities.
