Loblaw Companies Limited is seeking a skilled Asset Protection Representative to join our team. As a key member of our Asset Protection team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our stores.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deter, detect, and apprehend theft and fraud within our retail locations
  • Collaborate with other Asset Protection Representatives to investigate provincial or national ORC cases
  • Work closely with local law enforcement to maintain a safe and secure environment
  • Investigate internal investigations, compile evidence, and present findings for court or arbitration
  • Identify and mitigate potential shrink opportunities within our operational core compliance
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with store management and colleagues, providing coaching and guidance on Asset Protection policies and procedures
  • Participate in conducting store-level audits and community events
Requirements:
  • Valid Provincial Security Guard License required
  • Basic understanding of the Criminal Code of Canada, Trespass to Property Act, and Powers of Arrest
  • Working knowledge of Windows-based applications (Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor
  • High degree of initiative and integrity required to succeed in a dynamic environment
