About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Specialist to join our team at Alio Health Services. As a key member of our Patient Support Programs (PSP) team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer In-Home Infusions and Injections: Provide patients with necessary medical treatments and education on the use of auto-injection and self-injection devices.
  • Phlebotomy Services: Collect blood samples from patients in the comfort of their own homes.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule appointments with patients and designated caregivers, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Home Visits and Follow-Up: Conduct home visits to provide patient care and follow up on any necessary medical interventions.
  • Charting and Reporting: Accurately document patient interactions and report any adverse events in a timely manner.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Valid RN or RPN License: Possess a valid nursing license in the province of British Columbia.
  • CPR Certification: Hold current CPR certification.
  • Minimum 2 Years of Nursing Experience: Have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on nursing experience post-graduation.
  • Excellent Communication and Documentation Skills: Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong documentation skills.
  • Time Management and Customer Service Skills: Demonstrate excellent time management and customer service skills, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
