THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Skate Monitor. As a key member of our Personnel Support Programs team, you will contribute to the operational readiness of our Canadian Armed Forces by providing fitness, sports, recreation, and health promotion programs to military communities across Canada and members while on deployment.

Under the supervision of the Community Aquatics and Recreation Coordinator, you will be responsible for monitoring public skating, organizing equipment setup and take-down, interacting with participants during activities, and monitoring start and finish times of skate programs.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Some high school education and relevant experience in a related field
  • Current CPR and Basic First Aid qualifications
  • Ability to skate
  • Strong client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork, and leadership competencies
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

English is the primary language required for this role.
