About the Opportunity:

We are embarking on a revolution in mental health, targeting indications such as depression and PTSD. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the advancement of precision medicines for brain and mental health.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading analytical chemistry activities, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to develop analytical methods and testing procedures, and generating original technical ideas and research strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead analytical aspects of projects in the development pipeline, utilizing expertise in HPLC, LC-MS, NMR, and corresponding instrumentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance drug candidates through analytical method development, testing, and control strategy implementation.
  • Apply, obtain, and analyze data from various analytical techniques, ensuring high productivity and autonomy in laboratory research and method development.
  • Maintain accurate records of observations, measurements, techniques, procedures, and conclusions to inform project decisions.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10+ years' industry experience in analytical chemistry for B.S., 7+ years for M.S., or 5+ years for Ph.D.

This position is located at our office in Calgary, Alberta. We estimate the salary range for this role to be between $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
