About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Agent to join our team at Whiteridge Inc. as a Technical Support Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and report on the performance of computer systems and networks, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Provide expert advice and training to users on the use of computer systems and software, resolving technical issues and improving user productivity.
  • Manage and maintain a comprehensive problems and solutions log, ensuring that technical knowledge is shared across the team.
  • Supervise and mentor junior technical support staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality service.
  • Provide technical support to users on business systems, networks, and the Internet, resolving technical issues and improving user experience.
  • Perform regular backups and recovery operations on Web servers, ensuring business continuity and minimizing downtime.
Work Environment

As a Technical Support Specialist at Whiteridge Inc., you will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a team of experienced professionals. You will be required to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and delivering high-quality results.

Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a relevant field, such as computer science or information technology.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a technical support role, preferably in a private company or corporation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with users at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
