We are seeking a skilled Stucco Plasterer to join our team at Apex Concepts Inc. As a Stucco Plasterer, you will be responsible for applying successive coats of compound and sanding seams and joints, as well as applying, leveling, and smoothing coats of plaster.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
  • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for plastering
  • Cure freshly plastered surfaces
  • Finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in finish coat, if required
  • Mix plaster ingredients to desired consistency
  • Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
  • Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings
  • Trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms
Work Environment

As a Stucco Plasterer, you will be working in a fast-paced commercial, industrial, and residential setting. You will be exposed to dusty, hot, and outdoors conditions, and will be required to work at heights.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 2 years of experience in stucco plastering or a related field
  • Ability to work at heights and in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other personal protective equipment
