About the Role:

KNOCK TOGETHER BUILDERS INC is seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. As a Construction Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates of labour and material costs for our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
  • Prepare pre-qualification submissions to present to clients
  • Prepare estimates for general expenses and overheads
  • Create and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bid forms
  • Advise on tendering procedures
  • Monitor and adjust contract expenditures
  • Prepare and maintain a directory of supplies and trade contractors
  • Liaise, consult, and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates

Requirements:

  • College/CEGEP education
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Work under pressure
  • Tight deadlines

Work Environment:

KNOCK TOGETHER BUILDERS INC offers a permanent work arrangement, 30 hours per week, with English as the primary work language.
