Job Title: Class A CDL Driver Long Haul

Job Summary:

Stericycle is seeking a reliable and experienced Class A CDL Driver to join our team. As a Class A CDL Driver, you will be responsible for transporting waste from Stericycle locations or customer sites to other Stericycle transfer locations or processing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage assigned routes to ensure safe, timely, and accurate transportation of waste.
  • Operate tractor-trailer vehicles, following federal, state, and local rules and regulations.
  • Communicate with Transportation Managers and Dispatchers regarding any issues or changes to pickups.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles, reporting any maintenance problems to Transportation Managers and Dispatchers.
  • Use ELD and Geotab to log hours per DOT guidelines.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience driving tractor-trailer vehicles.
  • Current Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with an excellent driving record.
  • Doubles and Triples Endorsements a plus.
  • Ability to read maps and follow turn-by-turn directions on electronic devices.
  • General computer skills and knowledge of the internet.
