Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Ajit Transport Inc is seeking a reliable and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload goods at designated locations
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
Requirements:
  • AZ class license
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Commercial Vehicle Operator's Registration (CVOR) Certificate
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience as a Long Haul Truck Driver
  • Knowledge of refrigerated trucks and equipment
Working Conditions:

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be required to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment and adhering to all company policies and procedures.
