Arena Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Arena Operations Specialist to join our team at the Regina Exhibition Association Limited. As an Arena Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the ice surfaces meet or exceed high standards for all user groups. This includes conducting thorough and proper ice making and maintenance, maintaining facility cleanliness, and performing other duties as allocated.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough and proper ice making and maintenance, including preparing arenas for ice installation, flooding ice, and performing ice thickness and temperature checks.
- Maintain facility cleanliness and ensure all equipment is in good order through proper repairs and maintenance.
- Perform other duties as allocated, including performing a safety and security check of facilities on a daily basis.
- Grade 12 or a combination of relevant education, training, and experience.
- Previous experience in performing the function of ice making and sport surface maintenance is an asset.
- Experience in multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Must possess and maintain a Valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Provincial driver's license.
