Ice Surface Technician

**Job Summary**
The Regina Exhibition Association Limited is seeking a skilled Arena Operations Specialist to join our team. As an Arena Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the ice surfaces to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough and proper ice making and maintenance, including preparing arenas for ice installation, flooding ice, and performing ice thickness and temperature checks.
- Maintain facility cleanliness and ensure all equipment is in good order through proper repairs and maintenance.
- Perform a safety and security check of facilities on a daily basis.
- Perform other duties as allocated.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent education, or a combination of relevant education and experience.
- Previous experience in ice making and sport surface maintenance is an asset.
- Knowledge of ice making, and sport surface maintenance is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to operate various playing surface equipment.
- Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others.
