We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to join our team at the City of Edmonton. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain project plans, including project charters, scope statements, and project schedules.
- Coordinate and manage project teams, including setting project expectations, managing project status, and ensuring regular communication with stakeholders.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered in accordance with EPS governance requirements and City of Edmonton policies.
- Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring that projects are delivered within budget.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including team members, sponsors, and customers.
- Degree in a related discipline and 4 years experience in a project leadership role in an Information Technology environment OR Post-secondary diploma in a related discipline and 6 years related experience, of which 4 years is in a project leadership role in an Information Technology environment.
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) Designation would be considered an asset.
- Relevant Project Management certification.
- Experience in information technology would be an asset.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent team building skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Competitive salary: $110,384 per year.
