Job Summary:

The Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in the success of CB Canada by ensuring the smooth operation of our day-to-day activities. This position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispatch and Fleet Management: Coordinate the activities of drivers, supervisors, and fleet units using various computer-aided communications and dispatching equipment.
  • Customer Service: Provide professional and friendly phone assistance to customers, resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Route Planning and Optimization: Plan, organize, and respond to route, fleet, and operator issues, ensuring compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
  • Administrative Support: Perform administrative duties as required, including payroll, filing, and reports.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with drivers, supervisors, and other teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

Requirements:

  • Strong Organizational Skills: Possess excellent time management, multitasking, and problem-solving skills to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers, drivers, and other stakeholders.
  • Transportation Industry Experience: Previous experience in the transportation industry is an asset, but not required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in using Microsoft Office, Outlook, and database systems.
  • Criminal Record Check: Must have a clear criminal record.
