Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Salvage Clerk to join our team at Allen's Scrap & Salvage (2021) Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized warehouse, processing incoming requisitions, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, process incoming requisitions, and ensure that all items are properly labeled and cataloged.
  • Warehouse Operations: Clean and maintain the warehouse, supply area, or office, and ensure that all equipment is in good working condition.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns, provide advice on the use and appropriateness of goods or parts, and ensure that all customers receive exceptional service.
  • Parts Sales: Sell spare and replacement parts to customers, and ensure that all sales are accurately recorded and processed.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, sales, and customer interactions, and ensure that all records are up-to-date and easily accessible.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Certifications: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Skills: Ability to distinguish between colors, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
