Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Systems Technician to join our team at Paladin Technologies. As a key member of our security solutions team, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining complex security systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarms
  • Install, program, and commission security systems, ensuring they meet client requirements
  • Perform troubleshooting and maintenance tasks to ensure system reliability and efficiency
  • Collaborate with project managers and sales teams to understand client needs and develop effective solutions
  • Provide training and support to clients on system usage and troubleshooting
  • Build strong relationships with clients and prospects to identify future business opportunities
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in a technical role within the integrated security industry
  • Postsecondary training in electronics or equivalent is considered an asset
  • Vendor certification in low voltage systems is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver's license with clean abstract
  • Ability to lift 50lbs consistently
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
