Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Systems Technician to join our team at Paladin Technologies. As a key member of our security solutions team, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining complex security systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarms
  • Install and service electronic security systems, including pre-wiring, programming, and commissioning
  • Assist in system design and layout, and provide customer training for proper system usage
  • Perform Acceptance Testing Plans to ensure contract and client requirements are met
  • Collaborate with project managers and sales teams to review and implement installation blueprints and plans
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for security systems
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects for future opportunities
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in a technical role within the integrated security industry
  • Postsecondary training in electronics or equivalent is considered an asset
  • Vendor certification in low voltage systems is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver's license with clean abstract
  • Ability to use hand and specialty tools associated with the industry
  • Ability to lift 50lbs consistently
  • Able to work independently
  • Strong interpersonal skills
