About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Care Worker to join our team at The Right at Home Canada Edmonton South. As a Home Health Care Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their dignity and well-being are maintained at all times.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals, following strict protocols and guidelines.
  • Provide assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for clients.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in activities that promote their physical and mental well-being.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
