Job Title: Home Health Care Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Care Worker to join our team at The Right at Home Canada Edmonton South.

Job Summary:

As a Home Health Care Worker, you will provide personalized care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as providing medication administration and light housekeeping.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Administer medications as prescribed by a healthcare professional
  • Provide light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Assist clients with mobility and transfer activities
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Physically demanding
