About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Home Child Care Provider at Dan Wu. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children in a home-based setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children, promoting their physical, emotional, and social development.
  • Plan and implement engaging activities, games, and outings that cater to the children's interests and needs.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks, ensuring the children's dietary requirements are met.
  • Establish and maintain a daily routine that includes rest periods, playtime, and educational activities.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, keeping them informed about their child's daily activities, meals, and any notable events.
  • Collaborate with other caregivers and staff members to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; early childhood education or related field an asset.
  • Previous experience in childcare or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to maintain a safe and healthy environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Reliability, flexibility, and a positive attitude are essential for this role.
