Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technologist to join our team at IPG Photonics. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling complex electronic, optical, and mechanical systems according to technical drawings and assembly manuals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble mixed electrical, optical, and mechanical systems to exacting industrial standards.
  • Create cables and wiring harnesses using crimped and soldered connectors.
  • Prepare equipment and spare parts for shipment, verifying contents against order documentation.
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks to ensure optimal production efficiency.
Requirements
  • Exceptional hand-eye coordination and steadiness.
  • Detailed-oriented with the ability to perform precision tasks independently.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations.
  • Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical technical drawings.
  • Capacity to lift 20 kg packages safely.
