Job Title: Supply Chain Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Director to join our team at Nations Fresh Food. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our supply chain operations and ensuring the efficient flow of goods from suppliers to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Plan and control budget and expenditures
  2. Hire, train, direct and motivate staff
  3. Plan, develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures
  4. Oversee the evaluation of the cost and quality of goods or services
  5. Authorize the development of specifications for products or services
  6. Manage contracts
  7. Review and process claims against suppliers
  8. Oversee the analysis of data and information
  9. Oversee the preparation of reports
  10. Advise senior management
  11. Organize and maintain inventory
  12. Resolve delivery and other problems with suppliers
  13. Negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms and transportation arrangements with suppliers
  14. Maintain records on inventory control system
  15. Establish delivery schedules
  16. Assign, co-ordinate and review projects and programs
  17. Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization
  18. Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5 years or more of experience
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Flexibility and initiative

  • Team player
