About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Professional to join our team at Chaudhary Vet Prof Corporation. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the overall well-being of our animal patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat diseases or abnormal conditions in individual animals, herds, and flocks through physical examinations or laboratory tests.
- Prescribe medication, set bones, dress wounds, or perform surgery as needed.
- Administer vaccinations to prevent and treat diseases.
- Advise clients on animal care, including feeding, housing, behavior, breeding, hygiene, and general care.
- Conduct veterinary research related to animal nutrition, healthcare products development, and disease prevention and control.
- Enforce government regulations in disease control and food production, including animal or animal-based food inspection.
- Perform routine, emergency, and post-mortem examinations.
- Provide a range of veterinary services, including obstetrics, dentistry, and euthanasia.
- Supervise animal health technologists and animal care workers.
Requirements:
- Canadian Veterinary Medical Association Certification.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
- Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to distinguish between colors and work under pressure.
- Physically demanding role requiring standing for extended periods and repetitive tasks.
