Job Title: Veterinary Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Veterinary Specialist to join our team at Chaudhary Vet Prof Corporation.

Job Summary:

The Veterinary Specialist will be responsible for providing high-quality veterinary care to animals, as well as overseeing the daily operations of our animal hospital or clinic. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong communication and leadership skills, as well as a passion for animal health and welfare.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and treat diseases and injuries in animals through physical examinations and laboratory tests
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for animals, including prescribing medication and performing surgery
  • Provide guidance and support to veterinary technicians and other staff members
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations and industry standards
  • Conduct routine and emergency examinations, as well as post-mortem examinations
  • Provide a range of veterinary services, including obstetrics, dentistry, and euthanasia
  • Supervise and train staff members to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the animal hospital or clinic, including budgeting and staff supervision
Requirements:
  • Canadian Veterinary Medical Association Certification
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a veterinary setting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, bending, and lifting
