We are seeking a highly skilled Journeyperson Welder to join our team in the Mine Maintenance Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for welding, fabricating, and cutting to build, maintain, and repair equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work safely in a mining environment and follow established procedures and policies.
- Plan, layout, and use trade skills for assigned work.
- Participate in safety meetings and inspections, and follow standard operating procedures.
Requirements:
- Saskatchewan or Interprovincial Red Seal Welder certification.
- Positive safety behavior and safety leadership.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in an underground shop environment.
- Ability to interact positively with co-workers and supervisors.
- Ability to work safely and effectively in a labour-intensive team environment as well as independently.
- Willingness to learn and gain adequate knowledge and experience through training.
- Stable work record.
- Previous experience in an industrial environment is an asset.
