Retail Department Manager

Job Summary:
The Retail Lead is a key member of our team at Cabela's, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a retail store department. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to delegate tasks and ensure proper execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delegate tasks and work assignments to team members by providing clear and concise direction, and follow up to ensure proper execution.
- Foster the growth and development of team members by training them on various standard operating procedures and processes.
- Ensure team members follow all standard operating procedures and systems processes, providing correction and guidance when needed, and reporting violations to the manager.
- Perform administrative tasks related to their assigned department.
- Maintain visual presentation standards, including in-store signage, merchandise recovering/front facing, restocking, remerchandising, dusting, and vacuuming the sales floor as needed.
- Assist in other areas of the store when business needs dictate.
- Open availability is required, including working store opening and closing shifts, as well as weekends.
Requirements:
- Experience in a related field or outdoor lifestyle.
- Knowledge of Cabela's specific products is an asset.
