Food Service Supervisor: Leadership Role

Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food Service Supervisor to lead our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and possess a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position that requires the ability to work 35 hours per week. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for establishing effective work schedules, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, preparing budget and cost estimates, addressing customers' complaints or concerns, maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and preparing and submitting reports.
Responsibilities- Establish Effective Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet business needs.
- Train Staff: Provide comprehensive training to new staff members on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Ensure Quality Standards: Maintain high-quality food and service standards by monitoring kitchen operations and making adjustments as needed.
- Budgeting and Cost Control: Prepare accurate budget and cost estimates to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Customer Service: Respond promptly to customer complaints or concerns, providing solutions that meet their needs.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on kitchen operations, including sales data, inventory levels, and employee performance.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: At least 7 months of experience in a related field
- Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to multitask, strong focus on customer service
