About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Saskatchewan Corp. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes and utensils are properly cleaned and stored, and assisting with food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors, and cleaning and sanitizing all kitchen surfaces and equipment.
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit, and operating dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and handle and store cleaning products.
  • Assist with tasks such as sharpening kitchen knives, and operating conventional ovens, deep fryers, and grills.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
