About the Role
As a Torrid Sales Associate, you'll be the face of our brand, providing an exceptional shopping experience that makes our customers feel comfortable, cared for, and confident. Your role will involve:
- Providing personalized service to customers, understanding their needs, and making recommendations to drive sales and loyalty
- Operating the cash register, handling transactions, and maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals, maintain visual standards, and ensure a clean and organized store environment
- Assisting with stockroom organization, receiving shipments, and maintaining inventory levels
- Participating in visual merchandising, including setting up displays and maintaining store fixtures
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Previous sales or customer service experience, preferably in a retail environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
- Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm
- Fashion knowledge and a passion for staying on top of current trends
