Hi,

Lorven Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Agile Coach to join our team in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. As a key member of our Agile team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of Agile methodologies across our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of Agile processes and frameworks to drive business value and improve team performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to team members on Agile principles, practices, and tools to ensure successful adoption and implementation.
  • Develop and maintain Agile metrics and reports to track team performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Participate in Scrum of Scrum meetings to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams.
  • Provide feedback to Agile Line Manager and Agile Program Leader on team performance and identify opportunities for growth and development.
  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including planning, daily standup, grooming, demo, and retrospection, to ensure correct adoption and implementation.
  • Ensure updating of all Scrum artifacts, including the Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, and Burndown Chart.
  • Ensure ALM tool is updated on a daily basis to track team progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyze key Scrum metrics and take corrective actions to improve team performance.
  • Create competency improvement and cross-skilling plans for the team to ensure continuous growth and development.
  • Help team attain stable velocity within 6-8 sprints, allowing for 10% variation either way.
  • Train team on proper adoption of Agile processes, including Scrum, XP, and Kanban.
  • Help in adoption of engineering practices like ATDD, TDD, CI, CD, and Refactoring.
  • Record and own retrospection actions to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Participate in community of practice initiatives to share knowledge and best practices with other teams.
  • Provide inputs to Line Manager for internal quality forums, including QIC, APR, QBR, and MBR.
