We are seeking a skilled Construction Site Leader to oversee and assist in various construction site activities. The ideal candidate will have a proven background as a Construction Site Supervisor or similar role.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with project managers on construction plans, schedules, and daily operations.
  • Supervise construction workers and subcontractors, assign tasks, and provide guidance.
  • Evaluate compliance with building codes and safety standards through regular inspections.
  • Develop and implement effective safety protocols and conduct training sessions.
  • Coordinate the delivery and handling of construction materials and equipment.
  • Communicate regularly with project managers and maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Solve construction site issues by identifying solutions.
  • Perform hands-on work, including tasks such as framing, drywall installation, and painting.
  • Assist project coordinators or managers as needed.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Construction Site Supervisor or similar role.
  • Comprehensive understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Ability to interpret construction plans and drawings.
  • Proficient in using construction management software and tools.
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Authorization to lawfully work in Canada.
  • Preferred Training and Certifications: WHMIS for Managers and Supervisors; Office Health and Safety; Hazard Identification, Assessment and Control.
