Overview

We are hiring a part-time Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team in Edmonton, AB. About the Role

This part-time position is approximately 16-24 hours per week. As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day pharmacy operations, including dispensing medications, maximizing clinical opportunities, and administering vaccinations. Additionally, you will maintain inventory within the pharmacy, ensure compliance with Provincial and Federal regulations, policies, and procedures, and remain current on the latest trends in the pharmacy industry by keeping up with new medications and clinical opportunities. You will also offer private consultations to patients while maintaining a patient-centred care culture, provide clinical services including medication management and health screening, and assess, plan, and apply clinical knowledge when required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have a Canadian Pharmacist licence and be in good standing with the respective College of Pharmacists. You should also have injection certification and proficiency with Pharmacy Software solutions, preferably Kroll. Experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and completed mandatory training when required is an asset. You will need the ability to assess, plan, and apply clinical knowledge when required.
