Job Title: Building Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Building Maintenance Worker to join our team at Travel Inn. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our buildings and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and adjustments to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
  • Perform minor repairs on appliances and equipment.
  • Conduct safety and security checks to ensure the well-being of our guests and staff.
  • Supervise other workers and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as required.
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs, such as painting and drywall repair.
Work Environment:

As a Building Maintenance Worker, you will work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. You will be required to work under pressure and handle repetitive tasks, heavy loads, and physically demanding situations.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Dependability, flexibility, initiative, and judgement.
