Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Neurologist to join our team at the Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, BC. As a Neurologist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with neurological disorders.

The Royal Inland Hospital is a 258-bed facility that serves as a referral centre for approximately 250,000 people. We offer a range of services including emergency and trauma care, ambulatory and outpatient clinics, and diagnostic services. Our hospital has a state-of-the-art ICU and ER, and we are committed to providing high-quality patient care.


Role and Responsibilities

As a Neurologist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating and treating patients with neurological disorders
  • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as CT scans and MRIs
  • Developing treatment plans and prescribing medications
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A medical degree from a recognized university
  • Completion of a neurology residency program
  • Licensure to practice medicine in British Columbia
  • Current certification in neurology
