Regina Public Library is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Associate. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, providing information and assistance to patrons, and promoting the library's programs and services.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide proactive customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist patrons with technology, information resources, and other services, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
- Host library programs, tours, and community events, promoting the library's value and services.
- Perform administrative tasks, including data entry, scheduling, and cash handling.
- Assume shift supervisory responsibility as assigned.
- Grade 12 completion.
- Minimum 2 years' recent experience in customer service, preferably in a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, and public speaking skills.
- Ability to assist patrons with technology, information resources, and other services.
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs, web-based services, and other applications.
- Strong interpersonal skills, conflict resolution skills, and ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Strong customer service orientation and service record.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with the public, staff, and partners.
- Hourly pay rate: $24.07 - $28.66.
