Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Tire Gas+.
Key Responsibilities:- Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of sales associates to provide exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.
- Authorize Payments: Ensure accurate and timely payment processing, including cheque authorization and reconciliation.
- Order Merchandise: Coordinate inventory management, including ordering and receiving merchandise to meet customer demand.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and optimal customer service.
- Sell Merchandise: Foster a sales-driven culture, promoting products and services to customers and driving sales growth.
- Prepare Reports: Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and operational metrics to inform business decisions and drive improvement.
- Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply chain disruptions, and other operational challenges in a timely and professional manner.
- Organize Inventory: Maintain accurate inventory levels, manage stockroom operations, and ensure efficient merchandise flow.
- Supervise Staff: Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of sales associates and support staff.
- Conduct Performance Reviews: Regularly evaluate employee performance, provide feedback, and coach staff to achieve sales and service goals.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of retail management experience.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
