Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Tire. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of sales associates and department managers.
- Authorize Payments: Process payments, manage cash handling, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Order Merchandise: Coordinate inventory management, including ordering and receiving merchandise.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and optimal store performance.
- Sell Merchandise: Provide exceptional customer service, promote products, and meet sales targets.
- Prepare Reports: Analyze sales data, identify trends, and provide insights to inform business decisions.
- Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, resolve conflicts, and maintain a positive store environment.
- Organize Inventory: Manage inventory levels, maintain accurate records, and ensure efficient stockroom operations.
- Supervise Staff: Coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of sales associates and department managers.
- Conduct Performance Reviews: Evaluate employee performance, provide feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- 1-7 months of retail experience
- Permanent employment
- English language proficiency
- 35 hours of work per week
