We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Proper Care Services Inc. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP and tax laws.
- Payroll and Benefits Administration: Process payroll, manage benefits, and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, optimize financial performance, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
- Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, and MS Word. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
This is a permanent position with 35 hours of work per week. The work language is English. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, have excellent attention to detail, and be able to work under pressure.
