About Us

StretchLab Victoria is a leading wellness studio committed to providing exceptional experiences for our clients and employees. We are seeking a part-time health and fitness professional to join our team as a certified stretch specialist.

Job Summary

This role involves delivering one-on-one assisted stretching sessions to clients, educating them on proper stretching techniques, and assessing their mobility and flexibility. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be empathetic and reliable, and possess a strong work ethic.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of client mobility, flexibility, and muscle activation to develop customized stretch plans.
  • Educate clients on the benefits of stretching and how it can improve their overall well-being.
  • Deliver safe and effective stretching sessions using static, passive, and PNF stretching techniques.
  • Encourage and motivate clients throughout their stretching sessions.
  • Ensure client safety by enforcing StretchLab policies and safety rules.
Requirements
  • Certification in kinesiology, physiotherapy, or a related field.
  • 1 year experience working in the health and fitness industry.
  • Ability to work 20-30 hours per week.
  • Possession of excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathetic and caring personality.
  • A solutions-focused and team-oriented approach.
  • Passion for health, wellness, and fitness.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Base pay: $22.50-$29.00 per hour.
  • Studio-wide bonuses awarded for meeting performance metrics.
  • HSA accounts for staff working 30+ hours per week after 6 months of service.

About the Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $48,000-$60,000 based on a 20-30 hour workweek. This amount may vary depending on individual circumstances and performance.
